The Controlling Office

The Controlling Office (SCO-Land) is responsible for managing and coordinating the State Forestry Service, and also acts as a clearing house for forestry procedures (FOKUS 2000) and as the administrator of information and data for Department 5 of the Ministry for Nutrition and Rural Areas. The Office is also accountable for quality management and recommendations to the Baden-Württemberg State Forest Service. Furthermore, the Office is responsible for public contract notices and advises forestry agencies on how to fulfill these duties.

The Controlling Office is located in Stuttgart and is directly subordinate to the Ministry for Nutrition and Rural Areas.
